Hotel Sonne Lienz

Good place with great amenities like wi-fi, a fitness center, a sauna, and a tv. I still remember how the staff helped me find my lost bracelet. I highly recommend trying the breakfast buffet! I'm coming back for Christmas.

newly decorated and clean hotel with excellent staff and magnificent views over the mountains and town. central location, just a short stroll away from lienzer bergbahnen ski resort.

The central location made everything easy, and the room was spacious with a serene atmosphere. I really appreciated the option to open the windows for fresh air at night.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, courteous and competent - the breakfast was extensive - there was something for every taste - great cleanliness in the kitchen area - we would always recommend this accommodation

In the breakfast room you were not noticed and not welcomed, very old furniture in the room. On the 4th floor it smelled very much like smoke, because up there was the smoking lounge.

For children rather nothing offered, no more table tennis room or the like. Ski bus no longer stops in front of the house as it used to. Unfortunately, the restaurant is also no longer open.

The room was spacious with amazing views of the mountains, and the staff was very helpful in providing local hiking tips. The pillows and towels were lacking in comfort, and the decor felt a bit outdated. A decent stay with potential improvements.

The family room was great for our family of 4 with twin beds for kids and private room for mom and dad.

room was hot and noisy.I appreciate its not hot in Lienz for most of the year, but in July,its very hot.hotel rooms need a major makeover as they are old and tired, to bring it up to standard we expected from Best Western

Consider taking advantage of the free ski bus, conveniently located just outside the entrance for easy access to the slopes.

Very helpful staff. Secure parking in a very biker friendly area with easy access to some great scenery and awesome mountain roads.
